What is EMPULSE?

EMPULSE is a fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter in Early Access on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Update 2 (July 9, 2026) introduced Experimental Playlists with ADS testing and the Sentinel map blockout, plus a major weapon balance pass. No microtransactions.

Are mechs in Ranked?
No. Update 2 disabled mechs in Ranked temporarily. 1047 Games is evaluating competitive balance without them.
What changed in weapon balance?
Percussion and Coda buffed, Echo nerfed, Requiem and Volta buffed, long-range rifles nerfed. Grip attachment now 50% effective.
Is EMPULSE free to play?
No. Early Access costs $19.99 with no microtransactions at launch.
